I’m Karin—photographer, official "White Badge" tour guide, and someone who is genuinely, deeply obsessed with the Garden of Ireland.

My journey behind the lens started back in 2010 with weddings and portraits. I’ve always preferred natural light, so I spent years running photoshoots in the stunning gardens of Killruddery, chasing kids, great light, and authentic, relaxed moments. By 2018, I shifted my focus to commercial photography (janssen-photography.ie). That chapter completely sharpened my eye for detail and visual storytelling—skills that now shape every private tour I design. I notice the exact moment the light hits the hills, the hidden spots others drive right past, and the small details that make a day memorable.

I stepped into tour guiding because I realized how much I loved sharing the beauty of Ireland properly—not rushed, not scripted, but relaxed and personal. In 2024, I made it official by earning my White Badge qualification.
